Shyamantika Sarma is the Bihu Queen in Assam. She has got the sweetest and beautifulest smile in the entire Assamese film industry. She has also put up some brilliant performances on stage owing to her dance skills. She is also popularly known by the name of Jaanmoni because of her lead role in one of the best ever Bihu Video Album released in the year 2004 named as Jaanmoni 2004 which was then continued where she played the role of Jaanmoni. She is a very good dancer and is specially known for her bihu dances which she performed in many Bihu videos including the popular video series.
Shyamontika Sharma was born to a Brahmin family on 13/05/1986 at Tangla which is located within the district of Darrang, Assam. She has in the family her parents namely Mr. Bhadreswar Sharma and Mrs. Himani Sharma. She was a student of Maharishi Vidya Mandir at Guwahati where she completed her matriculation exam after which she enrolled her name in Handique Girls College to continue her Higher Secondary course. She also got her graduation done in Arts Stream having English as the major subject from the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU). She is a resident of Ganeshguri, Guwahati where she used to live with her family.
