According to authorities, a 32-year-old health worker in the Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur (MCB) district of Chhattisgarh was reportedly raped at knifepoint by an underage kid at her place of employment. An official said that although one suspect in the case escaped, police captured the 17-year-old defendant and two of her accomplices.
The event happened on Friday afternoon at a health sub-center within the boundaries of the Jhagrakhand Police Station, according to Dipak Saini, Jhagrakhand SHO Officer. She said that when the lady complained early on Saturday, officers got to work.
He said that the kid and three of his friends broke into the business on the outskirts of the hamlet when the lady was alone inside. The youngster reportedly sexually assaulted the woman after they tied her up and threatened her with a knife, according to the official.
Prior to leaving the scene, they reportedly recorded the act as well, he said. According to him, the accused have been charged in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Indian Penal Code, the Scheduled Castes and Tribes (Prevention of Atrocity) Act, the Weapons Act, and the Information Technology Act.
