ii) At least ten years of experience as a librarian at any level in a university library or as an assistant or associate professor in library science, or as a college librarian for ten years.
iii) proof of innovative library services, such as the use of information and communication technology (ICT) in a library.
iv) A Ph.D. in library science, information science, documentation, archiving or keeping manuscripts.
The scale of pay is Rs. 1,44,200–2,18,200/-Pay Matrix (Academic Level 14).
2. Assistant Librarian

Minimum\sQualification:
i)A Master’s degree in Library Science, Information Science, or Documentation Science, or an equivalent professional degree, with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade on a point scale, wherever the grading system is used)
ii) A good record in school and knowledge of how to use computers in a library.
iii) In addition to meeting the above requirements, the candidate must have passed the National Eligibility Test (NET) given by the UGC, CSIR, or a similar test approved by the UGC, such as SLET/SET, or be a Ph.D. holder or have been given a Ph.D. in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil./Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016, and
Pay scale: Pay Matrix, Rs. 57,700–1,82,400/- (Academic Level 10)
