Assam HSLC results 2016, Top Rank Holders
SEBA (Secondary Education Board of Assam) has released Class 10 result / HSLC results on the official website SEBAONLINE. A number of students had appeared in the 10th annual examination in between February 19 and March 12. Now the Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA) released out the result on the today (31st May 2016) at 11.00am. After the announcement of the HSLC results, it will publish the toppers list of Assam HSLC within a few minutes.
Sharfaraz Hussain of Shankardev Shishu Niketan, Guwahati, a school run by Vidya Bharati, secured the first position in the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) – Class 10 final exam – of the Assam Board of Secondary Education.
Overall pass percentage standing at 62.79%. Altogether 2.39 lakh students have passed the examination, among whom 54,197 secured first division, 96,568 second division and 88,849 third division. The total number of candidates who had taken the exam stood at 3,81,585.
In 2015, about 3.8 lakh students appeared for the Class 10 exam out of which 51,046 secured the first division while the overall pass percentage was recorded as 62.20%.
